"Places That Time Forgot"

In this Street photography series, I uncover the quiet strength of places left behind by the hustle of modern life. These spaces, once active and full of life, now stand as silent witnesses to forgotten memories and overlooked histories. Rather than evoking sadness, they inspire hope patiently waiting for someone to rediscover their stories. Each image captures a fleeting glimpse into the past and the profound emotions hidden within these locations. At the same time, it invites the viewer to see more than just an abandoned space: to notice hope, future, and creativity.

Street photography here becomes an extraordinary tool to showcase the relentless passage of time, which consumes everything, yet also reminds us that nothing lasts forever—not even abandonment.

Beginning note:

I must admit that I became interested in photography relatively recently. I don’t aspire to be seen as an expert or the best photographer in the world. Rather, I am sharing with you the process—not just the technical aspects, but above all, the artistic one.

And I must confess that with this particular series, the emotions were intense. I delved into the history of every place I photographed; on-site, I thought about the people who once lived there, how those places must have looked years ago.

I have to say, there is something almost supernatural in this—not in the mere wandering through ruins, but in the imagination, if we are able to focus it properly…
